
Our Story
Every great pub has a story. Ours? Well… it started like most bad ideas that turn into good ones: with friends, food, and probably a beer or two.
Legend has it, McNeal’s began as a dream somewhere between a kitchen table and a garage that smelled suspiciously like burnt bacon. Someone said, “What if we had a place with the heart of an Irish pub but the stomach of Texas?” Everyone nodded. Nobody wrote it down. But somehow… here we are.
The early menu? Let’s just say it was “experimental.” The first burger may have been taller than the chef. Our fryers nearly quit on day one. And the “special sauce”? Yeah, it was just ketchup and mayo mixed together — but guests loved it (and we still kinda do).
Fast forward to today: McNeal’s has grown into a home for locals, travelers, karaoke stars, sports fans, brunch champions, and anyone brave enough to tackle our chicken & waffles after a night out. We’ve got big screens, cold pints, and food that actually tastes as good as it looks.
Are we perfect? Nope. Do we occasionally burn toast? Absolutely. But we’ve built something better than perfect — we’ve built a place where people laugh louder, eat happier, and feel at home.
So yeah, our humble beginnings were humble, messy, and probably a fire hazard. But like a good pint of Guinness, we just keep getting better the longer we’re around.
